Life at LA Nairobi

More than a school day

At Light Academy Nairobi, learning carries on well beyond the classroom. Day and boarding learners share a campus in Karen built for growing in confidence, friendship and character.

Clubs, sports, competitions and community service fill the week – and our boarding houses give learners a calm, well-supervised home where they study, rest and grow together.

Boarding

A home away from home

Our boarding houses are designed to feel like home: bright, modern and safe, with caring boarding staff and mentors who look after every learner’s wellbeing, study time and free time. Boys and girls live in separate boarding houses.

Our new girls’ hostel offers spacious dormitories with personal lockers, comfortable lounges, a games room and quiet corners for reading – and evenings that end with tea, conversation and friendship.
