Why we stand out

A leading day and boarding school in Nyali

Light Academy Mombasa is a leading day and boarding school offering a complete education from the early years – Pre-Primary (PP1–PP2) – through Primary School and Junior School to Senior School (Grade 12), under the Kenyan Competency-Based Education (CBE) system.

Our state-of-the-art facilities including fully equipped science and computer laboratories, art and music rooms, a multimedia center, a 300-seater auditorium, and excellent sports amenities such as a modern gym, turf football pitches, basketball and tennis courts, and a swimming pool create the perfect environment for both academic and personal development.

Beyond the classroom, our students benefit from caring mentors in our boarding facilities and a dedicated team of teachers who inspire excellence, discipline, character, and leadership. At Light Academy Mombasa, we prepare learners not just for exams, but for life – equipping them to thrive as innovators, leaders, and responsible citizens of tomorrow.
